Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Foundations intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a structured, part-time plan designed to support a patient’s work schedule and daily responsibilities. During recovery in IOP, patients continue to live at home and attend three to four hours of outpatient therapies several days a week.

Integrated treatments for addiction and mental health

People in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) may live with substance use disorders, behavioral health conditions or both. By pairing mental health treatment with outpatient addiction services, you may uncover contributing issues and begin the recovery journey.

Counseling, lifestyle changes and relapse prevention

As part of the nationwide Foundations Recovery Network, we use evidence-based and dual diagnosis treatments that address the whole person, which may include:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Practicing coping mechanisms
  • Building relationship skills
  • Stress-relief techniques
  • Relapse prevention
  • Recovery roadmap for sobriety
  • Family counseling, and more
