With locations in Eden Prairie and Minneapolis, Foundations Minnesota serves clients locally, regionally and from out of state. Our outpatient care programs allow people to live at home and fulfill work and family responsibilities while receiving addiction care that supports long-term stability and skill-building. We work to provide accessible outpatient care that meets people where they are to support lasting recovery.
PRIDE Program
Foundations Minnesota in Minneapolis is the home of the PRIDE Program, a specialized LGBTQ+-centered program for adults seeking support for substance use and mental health concerns. Grounded in identity-affirming, whole-person care, our program strives to create emotional safety, allowing clients to feel acceptance and belonging, regardless of how they identify within the LGBTQ+ community.
In traditional treatment centers, the challenges faced by members of the LGBTQ+ community may be unknown, overlooked, or unaccepted. As a result, these insensitivities can make individuals feel alienated or misunderstood.
The PRIDE curriculum and treatment methodology were designed to address these unique needs and challenges. The components of our treatment program are designed to promote successful recovery for our LGBTQ+ clients, addressing issues like sexual health, trauma, internalized shame and negative self-acceptance.
Since 1986, PRIDE has served the LGBTQ+ community with its inclusive programming and evidence-based clinical care, delivered by culturally responsive and compassionate staff. At PRIDE, the journey to recovery is rooted in acceptance, understanding, and the freedom to be your authentic self.
